Schiller called O'Keefe and his practice of undercover stings an "abomination," and said, "this is not journalism. You don't ensnare people. You don't entrap people with hidden cameras...I don't know what this is, but it has nothing to do with the kind of journalism that i know."

Yet it was journalism when Ms. Schiller's NPR was reporting on Bloomberg's hidden camera antics.

A sniper with a "high-powered semi-automatic rifle".

It may not be April 1st, but that won't stop the fools in the press. Ignoring the obvious problems with the picture vs the actual gun used in the crime, one has to wonder what their definition of a sniper is.

According to the article, the police were close enough to hear the sniper's spent shells hitting the ground. After doing a bit of experimentation by dropping an empty 7.62x39 shell onto a concrete surface, on a relatively quiet day, with no gunfire or police radios blasting in my ear, i've determined the maximum distance you can hear an empty shell drop is approximately 30 yards. Hardly a sniper shot.

So apparently, a sniper is anyone with a rifle. Is it no wonder newspapers are a dying media?

ABC hatchet job on grenade lanchers.

Shameful. I guess that's what passes for journalism these days. Get on Google and take the words of the first idiot who picks up the phone as fact.

If you're interested in the actual process of buying a grenade launcher, read this. While there are slight differences between registering a short barreled rifle and buying a grenade launcher, most of the process is the same and it's much more accurate than ABC's schlock.

For 2010, be stubborn like a jackass and kick that lion in the mouth. Say no to any and all legislation that is not aimed solely at those who break the law.

Because if you ban guns in America, the drug cartels (organizations that own speedboats, submarines, airplanes, and helicopters) will never be able to get guns anywhere else. It's brilliantly stupid. No wonder Eric's been put into Joe Biden's soundproof room.

4. Fort Benning - Terrorists also eat food. Therefore, anyone who eats food is a terrorist.

5. Jim Darnell - With friends like this, who needs Josh Sugarmann? A real, live, breathing concern troll. At least someone was smart enough to delete his tripe before it cost them their entire subscriber base.

Mark Twain once said, "The trouble isn't that there are too many fools, but that the lightning isn't distributed right." Personally, I don't think there is enough lightning.

So for 2010, may the lightning be both plentiful and accurate. Especially around Washington D.C.

Of course, the media couldn't wait to sling the hyperbole by giving reports of machine pistol wielding street peddlers when in reality the weapon in question was nothing more than a semi-automatic handgun stolen from a woman in Virginia.

Neither the Tiahrt Amendment nor lack of registration prevented law enforcement from tracing the gun to its original owner. But that's not going to stop Money Mike from getting on the cross.
