This “lock and load” mania is running strong despite last year’s ruling by the Supreme Court that individual Americans have a right to own guns. That ruling was a reassuring victory for gun owners. But anxiety among people who love their guns continues to rise. The most common explanation for this rising wave of fear is that President Obama — who has said next to nothing on the issue — might want to try to curb gun sales.
Barack Obama says:
Address Gun Violence in Cities: Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.
Considering Juan Williams is a political expert (pundit, analyst, whatever), you'd think he'd at least consult the president's agenda before saying such things. Juan is either clueless or lying.

Interesting how Skyewriter asks for facts, so I make a reasonable, civil post on my blog with a link to her request.
What does she do? She complains about it, doesn't allow comments / factual discussion, and effectively takes her ball and goes home crying.
What was the point in asking for facts in the 1st place?
