The Brady Campaign is wrong again... Again.

Dennis Henigan says

According to a new report, U.S. Firearms Trafficking to Mexico, by the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and the University of San Diego Trans-Border Institute, of 75,000 firearms seized by the Mexican government in the last three years, about 80%, or 60,000 firearms, came from the United States.

The GAO gives a more truthful insight:

So it's more like 8,700 out of 75,000. Not 60,000.

Even if we say out of the approximately 4,000,000 firearms sold each year that 60K are making it across the border -- that is only 1.5% !

Wonder if Dennis would approve of a background check on him before each of his press releases or appearances? We need to reduce fraud and deceptive statements, would he be willing to put up with the restrictions on his rights?
