...I'd like to point out first that the Brady Campaign is not anti-gun. Let me repeat that we are NOT anti-gun (not trying to be annoying, but we get that question/assumption a lot).
First, catch your breath. Second, wipe those tears of laughter from your eyes.
The Brady Campaign continues to endorse and promote every gun ban that sees the light of day. The DC ban, Chicago ban, San Francisco ban, national park ban, bans on concealed carry, "assault weapons" bans, .50 caliber bans, college campus bans, etc. They've defended them all.
In fact, Nelson T. Shields, Chairman Emiritus of Handgun Control Inc. (now known as the Brady Campaign) said this once upon a time:
...the final problem is to make the possession of all handguns and all handgun ammunition except for the military, policemen, licensed security guards, licensed sporting clubs, and licensed gun collectors -- totally illegal.
The Brady Campaign is most definitely anti-gun. Only a fool would believe they weren't.
